Raw Chocolate Plate

How PRETTY is this raw chocolate plate?! It just makes me smile a happy smile. Plus it also tastes amazing, especially with the tarty pops of raspberry in amongst the rich raw chocolate. You can get creative and sub out any of the chocolate “toppings” for other nuts, seeds, fruit, GF grain puffs, coconut flakes, spices, etc.

Ingredients

For the chocolate:

• ½ cup (100g) coconut oil
• ½ cup (120g) cacao butter, chopped finely

• ⅓ cup (80ml) pure maple syrup

• 1 cup (100g) cacao powder

For the topping:

I didn’t measure these, but just scattered them over the chocolate…

• Raspberries

• Pistachios

• Cranberries

Directions

• Combine coconut oil, cacao butter and maple syrup in a heatproof bowl over  a pan of boiling water.
• Stir until melted and combined.

• Whisk in cacao powder until well combined.

• Line a dinner plate with baking paper and pour the melted chocolate over the plate. 

• Scatter topping ingredients over the chocolate, then place in the fridge or freezer to set.

• Break apart the chocolate into shards to eat.
